This post and the previous were both purloined from The Infinite Thinking Machine blog entry titled, Building cognitive maps for the read/write web, posted by Wesley Fryer. They showcase "a bazillion" ideas and examples of innovative instructional methods that include and extend beyond tech and Web 2.0. ITM is run by great teachers who let you into their world, and, as I have done, use their ideas.
The following video dramatically brings light to what has been reported elsewhere but not presented in this fashion, the globalization of education plus the information glut. The original video was modified for the Florida Educational Technology Conference: 21st Century Learning ,Global Economics and The Information Age (2007).
Time for a paradigm shift. The predictions presented are just that predictions. But then, who could have predicted something like this website eleven years ago? More importantly, some relevant questions are posed. So, what do you know?
